Baljit, a young handsome boy with a heart of gold is heartbroken and hopeless after a failed suicide attempt. He decides to leave his village and move to London to run away from the memories of his past
Nikki, a feisty yet full of life NRI returns to Punjab to get married after finding out that her boyfriend, Vikram has been cheating on her.
Baljit and Nikki meet at the airport where Nikki uses Baljit’s phone to call off her relationship with Vikram. Baljit caught in the middle of a suicide threat by Vikram is convinced that Vikram is innocent, decides to find Nikki and reunite her with Vikram.
Enter Daljit, Nikki’s to be husband – a dreaded and respectable cop. Daljit too falls in love with Nikki and in the process begins to trust Baljit as a friend not knowing that he plans to send Nikki back to Canada to marry Vikram.
Baljit finally convinces Nikki of Vikram’s innocence not realizing that Vikram is actually a cheater and takes her to the airport to leave for Canada.
What happens next is a series of entertaining yet emotional tangling and eventually untangling of the characters’ emotions, innocence and love.
